Google Workshop
The Google Workshop is finally upon us! Thanks to all who can make it.
Below is a map created during the workshop using Google fusion tables and Google maps. Workshop attendees entered some basic information during registration which we organized and geocoded using google tools. The results, including photos, are below.

Nature's Last Stand
The following maps are by Alex McInturff, department of Biology. This map shows areas that are both highly biodiverse and highly remote, with remoteness increasing from blue to red. Because of human impacts, these areas represent some of the only whole-ecosystems that remain relatively intact. This map helps prioritize and guide the conservation of such remote places
